After so many years of study,  well counting back from the first day in Kindergarten, finally I finished my school education. Hooray!!! Can not tell how happy I am. Yes, I am very happy! I graduated with a Ph.D. degree in High Energy Physics from University of Hawaii at Manoa in December 1999;  ready to begin a new life from the beginning of the new Millennium! My advisors are Prof. Thomas Browder and Steve Olsen.  My dissertation title: Studies of Inclusive Rare B Meson Decays produced at the Upsilon 4S Resonance.  The work was done on the CLEO experiment. It might be worth to cut a few trees. If one wishes to have a hardcopy, e-mail me: yong@positron.ps.uci.edu.

I've joined the UCI ATLAS group in January 2000. Our group consists of Prof. Andrew Lankford, Dr' s David Stoker, Steve Pier, Michael Schernau, Yong Li,  John Dailing, Mr Donovan Hawkins and Nigel Drego.  My research activity will be focused on constructing the on-chamber and off-chamber electronics as well as the data acquisition software for the Cathod Strip Chamber (CSC) of the ATLAS detector.

I'll be also involved in another very important experiment for B physics analysis at the BABAR B factory which is located on the PEP II at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center.
